District C

District C is a nonprofit organization that prepares high school students for modern, team-based work by equipping them with real-world problem-solving skills. Through its unique Teamship™ model, students collaborate in diverse teams to solve real business challenges provided by local companies and organizations. By focusing on collaboration, critical thinking, and communication, District C bridges the gap between education and the workplace, helping students build the mindsets and skills needed for success in the 21st-century economy.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

District C partnered with Vizionality to strengthen its digital presence and expand its reach. The project began with a comprehensive website audit, which identified limitations in the existing Aquarespace platform, including design constraints, performance issues, and lack of flexibility for future growth. Based on these findings, we led a full website rebuild, migrating District C to a modern, responsive WordPress platform that offers improved usability, scalability, and content management capabilities.

Alongside the website redevelopment, we set up and configured the Google Ad Grant program to help District C drive more traffic and engagement through targeted search campaigns. With a clean, optimized site and a fully functional Ad Grant account, District C is now better positioned to reach educators, partners, and students, all while increasing awareness of its mission to prepare young people for real-world, team-based problem solving.

OVERVIEW

WORDPRESS, GOOGLE AD GRANT AND MARKETING DASHBOARD

District C’s original website on Squarespace was limiting their ability to grow and reach new audiences effectively. The platform’s built-in SEO tools were restrictive, making it difficult to optimize pages for search visibility and drive organic traffic. Additionally, Squarespace lacked the flexibility and scalability needed to support District C’s expanding programs, partnerships, and content strategy. As their digital needs grew, it became clear that a more robust and customizable solution—like WordPress—was essential for supporting long-term growth and improving overall site performance.

WORDPRESS, GOOGLE AD GRANT AND MARKETING DASHBOARD

To address these limitations, Vizionality migrated District C’s website from Squarespace to WordPress, providing a more flexible and scalable platform tailored to their growing needs. The new WordPress site was built with SEO best practices in mind, allowing for better optimization, faster load times, and easier content management. This upgrade gave District C the tools to expand their digital presence, improve search visibility, and more effectively communicate their mission to educators, partners, and students.

From Squarespace to WordPress: A Digital Upgrade for District C

District C partnered with Vizionality to modernize its digital presence and establish a foundation for long-term growth. The project began with a comprehensive audit of their existing Squarespace website, where we identified limitations in flexibility, SEO capabilities, and content scalability. The platform made it difficult to implement advanced tracking, optimize content for search engines, and manage increasing content needs as District C expanded its programs and partnerships. To support their evolving goals and digital strategy, the organization needed a more powerful, scalable platform that could grow with them.

We led a full website rebuild on WordPress using Elementor, a flexible visual builder that allows for easy content updates by non-technical staff. Custom templates and reusable content blocks were developed to streamline internal workflows and maintain brand consistency across pages. In addition, we ensured all forms throughout the site—spanning program interest, partnership inquiries, and contact requests—were fully integrated and synced with HubSpot. This allowed for centralized lead management, improved segmentation, and automated follow-ups, giving District C a more efficient and effective way to engage with schools, partners, and donors.

To further amplify their outreach efforts, we set up and configured the Google Ad Grant to drive targeted traffic and increase visibility for key initiatives. Using Google Tag Manager and GA4, we implemented advanced tracking to monitor form submissions, click-throughs, and other key user actions. These insights are now used to inform campaign strategies and measure ongoing performance. With a modern, easy-to-manage website, integrated CRM tools, and a strategic advertising foundation, District C is now equipped to scale its mission of preparing high school students for modern, team-based work through a data-driven and user-focused digital experience.
