We began with an audit of Heggerty’s Google Analytics to pinpoint improvement areas, ensuring accurate tracking of user interactions. Recognizing the need to transition from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4 (GA4), I spearheaded the migration to harness GA4’s enhanced tracking capabilities. Additionally, I implemented Google Tag Manager (GTM) for the ecommerce platform, optimizing tracking and data collection efficiency. This setup enabled detailed insights into customer behavior and purchase patterns, significantly improving the site’s user experience and engagement. The transition to GA4 and GTM integration was instrumental in enhancing marketing strategies and driving business growth.
